Admissions and intakes
No. CMH schools are private higher education institutions and are not part of Parcoursup. You therefore need to apply directly to one of our schools.
Admission takes place in 4 stages:
- the online application, via the form on the website;
- sending the complete application file to the admissions department;
- a 30-minute admissions interview before a panel, on campus or by video conference, in professional dress;
- the results, communicated within 72 hours, then the enrolment file to be completed online within 30 days.
Proof of identity, a CV, a covering letter, your last 3 school reports, your baccalaureate certificate and your most recent qualifications. Any foreign qualification must be submitted for recognition to the ENIC-NARIC centre.
Admissions open each year from October for the following intake, and remain open subject to the availability of places.
The main intake takes place in September-October. A delayed intake is also offered in January-February, on the full-time programme, for students enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor's degree or the first year of an MBA.
Yes. Applications are possible for the first, second or third year of a Bachelor's degree, as well as the first or second year of an MBA, depending on your background and the places available. Your entry level is assessed during the admissions interview.
Work-study, placements and funding
Yes. CMH programmes are eligible for work-study from the third year onwards. Several arrangements are possible: apprenticeship contract, professional training contract, alternating placement, or a fixed-term or part-time permanent contract.
The schedule varies according to the programme chosen, for example 3 days at the school and 2 days in the company. The length of the programme is set by an agreement between the apprentice training centre (the CMH school), the employer and the work-study student.
With an apprenticeship contract as with a professional training contract, tuition fees are covered in part or in full by the OPCO to which the company belongs. The level of this funding depends on the length of the contract and on the professional sector of the host organisation.
An apprentice receives pay ranging from 27% to 100% of the French minimum wage (SMIC), depending on their age and their year of apprenticeship. These amounts may be increased where a collective agreement applies within the company.
The apprenticeship contract is open to young people aged 16 to 29 inclusive, with no age limit for apprentices recognised as disabled workers, elite athletes and those with a business creation or takeover project.
Yes, placements are scheduled every year. On an alternating placement, the maximum duration is 6 months full time per academic year with the same employer. Payment is compulsory beyond two months of placement, based on a minimum hourly rate of €4.50 net.
Tuition fees depend on the programme, the campus and the format chosen (full-time study or work-study). The admissions department will give you full details of the fees and payment terms when you speak to an adviser.
International
Yes, a semester abroad is built into the programme at the CMH campuses in London or Madrid. In the second year of the Bachelor's degree, this semester takes place at the ACE Education campus in Madrid, where the same programmes as in France are taught in English. It is compulsory in the second year of the European Bachelor in Hotel & Tourism Management and of the International Bachelor in Hotel & Tourism Management.
CMH runs bespoke seminars in Milan, Marrakech, London and Dubai: visits to palace hotels and luxury establishments, meetings with managers from the sector, hotel management classes and masterclasses, conversations with alumni working locally, and cultural discoveries.
The seminar is compulsory in the first year of the International Bachelor in Hotel & Tourism Management and optional in the first year of the European Bachelor in Hotel & Tourism Management.
