Students of IEMI / CMH MBA in International Hospitality Management & Luxury Brands participated in an international seminar in partnership with IIMT (Indian Institute of Management & Technology) in New Delhi.
MBA in International Hospitality Management & Luxury Brands students of IEMI/CMH had the opportunity to discover the traditional values, economic, political and cultural affairs as well as the different approaches to business in India.
Some of the activities are as the following :
- Visit of Taj Hotel Resorts & Palaces group leader of upscale hotels in India
- Full day at TATA motors, Pune
- Workshops led by personalities from business world :
Ms. Mallika Dasgupta, Luxury Retail Manager, the Oberoi, Gurgaon,
Mr. Saurabh Wats, Director – Marketing & product Planning – India Operations at General Motors
Mr. Raghavendra Rathore, Fashion and Interior Designer
- Cultural Tour to the city of Agra and the iconic Taj Mahal
- Visit to a local market of the city of Gurgaon
A partnership with IIMT allowed IEMI/CMH MBA students to confront IIMT students through a « Entrepreneurship workshop »
The French and Indian students worked on a join project : « Implantation of a French company in India » which was the subject of an oral presentation and evaluation by different groups of students participated in the seminar.
The project that won the first prize is « The establishment of French BIO brand Yves Rocher in India ».
The next steps of the "Global tour": Barcelona - Chicago - Sao Paolo - Moscow - Shanghai.
