BSc in International Hospitality Management

Objectives:

The BSc program aims to strengthen the fundamentals in business management: Business Plan, Strategic Revenue Management, Financial Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, International Marketing, Negotiation and Leadership, Company & Contract Law, Management Skills, Advanced Business Communication Skills, Net Literacy Skills. It is to gain a strong culture in the international hospitality management, strengthen the knowledge in the operations related to hotels, restaurants, spa, events, entertainment, tourism and luxury brands.

The BSc program allows the students to be ready for a challenging position in France or in a foreign country, with the choice of different specialized tracks.

The students can choose 4 within the 5 expertise tracks of 19 specializations, according to their professional project.

After the BSc, students will acquire the skills to pursue the MBA / Master of Business Administration.

The MBA is a degree in International Business Management specialized in International Hospitality, Tourism and Luxury Brands.

The students who do not have any training in Management, Marketing and Communication, will follow a necessary cycle of pre-courses.

The consultancy project is the keystone of the e-MBA program. It is an opportunity for the e-MBA students to apply their knowledge and skills in a real and practical setting.

Our company partners benefit from the insight and involvement of the students. The consultancy project provides the company with an effective contribution in solving issues.

The students are assisted by a project manager, a real mentor who will supervise and lead the work and research. S/he will give relevant advice and ensure that academic requirements are met.

The consultancy project is an opportunity to reflect on specific issues, as the deciders are increasingly busy with daily business management. It is also a chance for the company to assess potential candidates and offer jobs directly after completion of the project.

International Development-GLOBAL TOUR seminars of IEMI-CMH are designed for MBA students in International Hospitality and Luxury Brands Management that allow total immersion in the world's key economic cities for a week: Moscow, Beijing, Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, New Delhi, Mumbai and Chicago.

IEMI-CMH MBA in International Hospitality & Luxury Brands Management students therefore have the opportunity to participate in these study tours in partnership with universities.

It is a highlight of the MBA program to establish a true spirit of promotion. The program combines visits to companies, meeting with local students, collaborative study projects "Entrepreneurship Workshops" and cultural visits. Several types of financial aids are available to finance your studies:

CIF (Individual Training Leave)

This allows you to follow a one year full-time training, or 1200 hours/part-time, and to reintegrate your employment or equivalent by the end of the training. The funding agency supports 80% to 90% of the wages (up to 100 % if this least is twice lower than the minimum wage).
Training, transport and housing costs may also be totally or partially refunded. The employer may decide to fund (or not) and pay for the remaining costs.

All employees, regardless of the nature of their employment, may receive a training plan.

Periods of professionalization

This kind of financial aid aims to obtain a certification, degree, title, profesionalizing training or a recognized qualification in your professional sector. The duration is variable. It is possible to include additional hours of DIF. It is based on released classes with theories as part of the training and practice in your company. It may take place during working hours, or outside working time (during compensatory time, called RTT in France for example) within a maximum of 80 hours per year. The hours of the training conducted outside work, are paid by the employer up to 50% of the net earnings. During working hours, wages should normally be paid.
