j
TEAM WORKING

Team working is a key part of the CMH pedagogy. As soon as the term has started, each student becomes a meber of a section, and a group within this section.
Each group is composed of 6 to 8 students, chosen to represent a panel of nationalities. To succeed in their preparations, reports and presentations, the members of a group must be able to deal with the potential issues generated by such a heterogeneous mix. They are helped by coordinators who liaise with the departmental teachers.

j INDIVIDUAL WORK

Each and every student must be ready to commit him/herself and dedicate a fair amount of time to individual preparation and group debates. Lessons are given by our lecturers to sections, in French or in English. The best way for the student to acquire a clear and overall comprehension of the issues he/she will have to deal with once in a company is through the analysis of
concrete hospitality business issues in Paris and confronting points of view.

j CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT

Students have to work intensively and must acquire the knowledge required to graduate.
We are applying the credits system used in American and European Universities. Each credit is a unit used to assess the amount of work produced in a specific course. The attribution of credits is based on regular attendance and personal work (reading, team presentations, reports, exams). We believe that an hour of lessons requires two hours of personal work. Throughout the term exams and tests have to be taken and the students efforts are represented by a grade.

CMH and our partners are totally free to change their programs to keep them relevant and adapt them to any changes in the Hospitality Business.
